Leaders of the House Intelligence Committee have reportedly agreed on the parameters of a probe of Russia's meddling in the presidential election — and it will include investigating possible contacts between Moscow and the Trump campaign.
The committee announced the agreement Wednesday, Politico reported.
In a statement, the panel said its chairman, Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., and ranking Democrat, Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., had both okayed a six-page classified document laying out the scope of their probe.
The investigation will also delve into potential leaks of classified information to the news media, Politico reported.
Nunes had declared Monday he had seen "no evidence" so far the Trump campaign spoke with Russians.
