OPINION
Kamala Harris provided the tie breaking vote, as vice president for the inflation causing, Orwellian named Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) that was billed as costing us $369 billion, money we don’t have.
In reality it will cost more than $1.2 trillion, and this writer believes the price tag will be closer to $10 trillion — or more.
Additionally, she supports the Green New Deal.
Let's not forget what she told CNN, "My values haven’t changed."
According to the far left Aspen Institute, the Green New Deal that Kamala supported in the U.S. Senate, will cost $52 to $93 trillion over 10 years.
The ill named IRA, was just a downpayment on the money Harris wants to spend on expensive climate initiatives and taking over things like patents; or taking over 17% of our economy by having a government controlled single payer system, outlawing private insurance.
She's endorsed by the Green New Deal Network.
They did not endorse Biden.
What do they know about Kamala, that you don’t?
She also said in her only interview that we should have hard climate action deadlines.
Kamala, in case you've forgotten:
- Those are expensive.
- And most don’t work.
- According to left Nature only 63 of 1,500 climate polices actually reduce the necessary for life, airborne miracle grow, CO2.
All this additional spending would be added to our inflation causing $35.2 trillion national debt. The massive wind, solar, and battery subsidies in the IRA leverage more money.
Paid for by electricity users (all of us) which causes our electricity bills to skyrocket.
They turn full-time natural gas and coal plants into part-time backups and some they are attempting to close have decades of life in them.
If we want electricity all the time we have to keep and pay for natural gas and coal as well as all the wind, solar, batteries, and expensive transmission wires they require. Causing even more electricity inflation. Everything ends up costing more because energy is part of the cost of everything.
Walz signed the Minnesota electricity Green New Deal, putting their state on a course of unreliable and expensive electricity.
This law will cause Minnesotans to pay an additional $313 billion for their electricity over the next 2.5 decades. It will cause electricity shortages and blackouts. Walz promised less aggressive, less expensive electricity mandates as a candidate, then upped them once in office.
Why wouldn’t he and Harris do it again?
Wind only produces energy 30-35% of the time, when the wind blows just right.
Solar only 17-25% of the time, when the sun shines and it isn’t too cloudy. Solar also doesn’t produce much in the first and last part of the day or in winter.
Which doesn’t help satisfy peak electricity demand, from 5-9 pm when people get home from work and start cooking dinner, doing laundry, or charging their EV or when it is very hot or cold.
Sometimes the wind blows when it's needed, sometimes not.
Furthermore, unlike a coal, natural gas, or nuclear power plants, which use 100s of times less land, and last for 50-75 years, wind and solar must be replaced after 20 years.
Causing massive future expenses and a disposal problem.
Both cannot be recycled easily and cost effectively.
Replacing them will add even more inflation to our future electric bills.
Look at California and Germany in their mad dash to build out thousands of square miles of solar panels and hundreds of thousands of windmill towers.
Californians pay double the national average, import 30% of their electricity and now have a too much solar problem from the nearly two million rooftop solar installations.
And new housing costs are inflated because they mandate all new homes have solar.
The people of Germany, and its companies, are paying triple what we do.
It's causing deindustrialization and loss of good manufacturing jobs. It's contributing to inflation. When people spend more on electricity and gas, they have less to spend on other necessities. And if elected, Harris also wants to regulate food prices, which will eventually create shortages.
Kamala and Walz don’t dare talk energy.
Why?
Because they don’t want people to make the connection between their high gas and electricity costs, and the connection to the cost of food, rent, or mortgage and the connection to Harris-Walz policies.
Let's call it "Kamalanomics."
Guaranteed it's a policy that will squeeze every legal family even further, while exploding our national debt.
Vice President Kamala Harris, as our 47th president, would cheerfully go about putting her Green New Deal into practice.
Our national debt stands at $35.2 trillion. And take it to the bank, it's growing.
Worse our, economic rival, totalitarian China, manufactures and sells us 80% of the wind, solar, batteries for electric vehicles (EVs), as well as many components for our electric grid.
Raising our energy prices will only cause the further de-industrialization of our economy while tens of millions of illegal immigrants flood our country.
Which are facilitated by Border Czar Harris.
If we make the wrong choice in November, we will all pay far more for energy, and everything else.
Because all that we eat, do, and buy will cost a lot more with "Kamalanomics."
