A group allied with Republicans in the House of Representatives is starting a $2.6 million ad campaign pushing legislators to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act.

"The current healthcare system does not work and has hurt millions of Americans; it's time for a healthcare system that works," said Corry Bliss, executive director of American Action Network, in a statement.

"Americans should know that Congress has a plan for patient-centered health care and their member of Congress is a key voice in this fight."

The ads, which will be released Wednesday, will target the "broken" aspects of Obamacare in 41 congressional districts across the country.

"With skyrocketing premiums, trillions in new taxes and decreased access to quality coverage, American families and businesses have few good choices," a voice over says in one ad.

"They know it's time for a change."

AAN will also send a mailer targeting Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., for her 2010 "We have to pass the bill so you can find out what is in it."

As a nonprofit under Section 2015(c)(4), the AAN is not required to reveal its donors.

However, according to The Center for Public Integrity, publicly identified donors include the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America, the insurance company Aetna, and the Alliance for Quality Nursing Home Care.
