President Donald Trump's job approval rating has increased by one point during his first international trip.
The latest data from Gallup shows that Trump has a 39 percent approval rating from May 21-23. That figure is up from the 38 percent he has averaged the last two weeks.
Other findings in the data that spanned from May 15-21:
- Republicans who approve his performance: 84 percent.
- Democrats who approve of performance: 7 percent.
- Independents who approve his performance: 31 percent.
- Trump has more support from men (44 percent) than women (32 percent).
- Whites support Trump 48 percent, with Hispanics (17 percent) and blacks (9 percent) trailing.
- Those who earn between $60,000 and $89,999 per year approve of Trump's job performance: 43 percent.
All of the figures in the latest Gallup poll are down from Trump's first 10 days in office.
A Rasmussen poll, meanwhile, concluded that Trump's approval rating has surged to 48 percent during his current trip.
Trump left Washington, D.C. last Friday and has made stops in Saudi Arabia, Israel, Rome, Vatican City, and Brussels. He will travel to Sicily Friday for the annual G7 Summit.
