Fiorina Gets Morris Endorsement for Senate Race

WASHINGTON—Senate candidate Carly Fiorina says she's received the endorsement of Dick Morris, an author and political consultant for Fox News who once advised President Clinton.

Morris resigned as Clinton's adviser in 1996 after a tabloid reported on his relationship with a prostitute. Morris has since written several books and is a regular guest on Fox News.

Morris said Wednesday that he doesn't believe the conventional wisdom that moderates fare better than conservatives in California statewide elections—at least not this year. He says he considers Fiorina a true conservative who can beat Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer in November.

The state's GOP primary is place June 8.

The Fiorina campaign says it welcomed the Morris endorsement because he is a respected political pundit.
