Supporters booed as the man was escorted out by Anaheim police. He was not identified.

"See what I say?" Trump asked. "Don't hurt him. I say that for the television cameras. Do not hurt him, even though he's a bad person, folks. Bad person.

"Is there any place more fun to be than a Trump rally?" the presumptive Republican asked the cheering crowd.

The incident followed protests outside the Anaheim operation as well as on Tuesday night in Albuquerque, N.M.

Protesters there lit fires, smashed a door and threw rocks and bottles at police, who were in riot gear, outside the Albuquerque Convention Center.
