Dick Morris to Newsmax TV: Don't Rule Out Trump 'Landslide'

("Stinchfield,"/Newsmax TV)

President Donald Trump's Republican National Convention acceptance speech will mark a transition not only from presidency to candidacy, but a rebranding of himself, according to political strategist Dick Morris on Newsmax TV.

"Right now I would not rule out a heavy re-election, a landslide re-election," Morris told Thursday's "Stinchfield," after declaring Trump "has completely changed the image of his presidency."

As for the November re-election campaign, Morris pointed to potential Trump electoral college victories in the rust belt states of Michigan, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, and Ohio.

"The key thing is, Greg, [Joe] Biden can't do anything about it," Morris told host Grant Stinchfield. "What's he going to do, barnstorm the country with a new negative he hasn't used before?"

Morris noted the dark tone of the Democratic National Convention that was long on blame and short on policies that were evident during this week's RNC.

"There's nothing that pitiful, pathetic candidate can do," Morris said.
