In an apparent slap-back at President Donald Trump, Democrats on the House Foreign Affairs Committee on Monday tweeted an-all caps post slamming the president for siding with Russia on election hacking over U.S. intelligence officials.

"Don't be distracted by all caps," the tweet begins. "We're not attacking Iran.

"But Russia did attack our 2016 elections to help Donald Trump, and is doing so again."

The panel's ranking Democrat is New York Rep. Eliot Engel.

On Sunday, Trump tweeted — in all caps — a strong warning to Iran after President Hassan Rouhani told Trump that hostile policies toward Tehran could lead to "the mother of all wars."

Here's President Trump's post:

In its Monday tweet, the House committee continued: "Trump refuses to hold Russia accountable and sides with Putin over our intelligence community.

"That's an all-caps-worthy problem," the tweet said.

In addition, the Senate's top Democrat, Minority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York, also took to Twitter to demand that Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan remove Rep. Devin Nunes of California as chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee because he and Trump are "hell-bent" on undermining the Russia special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation.
