The five candidates running for the Democratic presidential nomination will all be under the same roof in September at the New Hampshire state convention.
According to the Manchester Union Leader, former Rhode Island Gov. Lincoln Chafee, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, and former Virginia Sen. Jim Webb will attend the New Hampshire Democratic Party State Convention on Sept. 19.
The Union Leader notes that this will be the first time all five candidates will be together in the Granite State during this campaign.
The convention, according to the organization's website, will take place at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester.
Also scheduled to speak at the convention, reports the Union Leader, are Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, Gov. Maggie Hassan, and Rep. Annie Kuster.
The field of Democrats running for president could grow larger in the next few weeks, as
Vice President Joe Biden is reportedly leaning toward joining the fray.
Biden has been speaking with his family, close friends, and other politicians in recent weeks as he mulls a presidential run.
It's been reported that Biden will announce
his decision on whether he's running in September.
If Biden does join the race, he could
garner a lot of support from the White House.
Clinton has been the Democratic front-runner in major national polls for months, but the
growing scandal surrounding her use of a private email and server during her time as secretary of state could potentially lead to her dropping out of the race or, as
some experts predict, being indicted.
There's also discussion that
former Vice President Al Gore could join the race.
