Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz called on front-runner Donald Trump to change his tone regarding presidential primary rules and said that Trump, "needs to stop threatening the voters," The Hill reports.

Cruz, a senator from Texas, made the comment during an appearance on "The Glenn Beck Show." He added, "Donald needs to understand that he's not Michael Corleone," referencing the mob boss in the movie "The Godfather."

Cruz was referring to Trump's loss in Colorado that resulted in Cruz picking up all the available delegates. Trump reacted and criticized the loss in a tweet:

In Colorado, party insiders and activists chose the delegates, the Denver Post reports, and Trump's delegate selections contained errors and misspellings.

Cruz said Trump's poor management skills were to blame for the loss. "Donald's whole pitch is that he's a great businessman," Cruz told Beck. "Yet his campaign right now, it looks like he can't run a lemonade stand."

Cruz also mentioned Trump's campaign manager being sued by a reporter that he allegedly grabbed. "Donald Trump keeps hiring people with records of dirty tricks, lies and threats of violence," Cruz said. "He is not a mobster."

Beck said on The BlazeTV that the only thing that would cancel his support for Cruz would be if he and Trump teamed up to run together.
