CNN host Reza Aslan fired off a crude invective against President Donald Trump for responding to Saturday's truck-and-knife attacks in London with a call for the courts to resurrect his travel ban.
The Iranian-American religious studies expert, who hosts a Sunday show on CNN "Believer," also called Trump an "embarrassment to America and a stain on the presidency" in addition to using an expletive.
It is not the first time a CNN host has used profanity to criticize the president.
FareedZakaria used a vulgarity to describe Trump during an appearance on "CNN Tonight" in March, and Kathy Griffin lost her annual New Year's Eve gig with the network last week for sharing a grisly image of herself holding a fake bloody head that resembled Trump.
NBC News also was initially dismissive of the president's retweet Saturday night that linked to The Drudge Report suggestion the incident was a terrorist attack long before police made that determination.
Aslan jumped all over the NBC statement to further criticize Trump as a "man baby that must be ignored in times of crisis."
Fox News' "Media Buzz" host Howard Kurtz questioned whether the comment will end up costing Aslan his job.
"Within a day, I'm wondering if he will still have a show," he said.
