New Clinton Ad Promises 'A Place for Everyone'

By    |   Wednesday, 19 October 2016 10:43 AM EDT

Hillary Clinton's latest campaign ad reassures voters that Clinton's America is "a place for everyone."

"This is not an ordinary time and this is not an ordinary election," Clinton says.

"I want to send a message … to every boy and girl and, indeed, to the entire world, that America already is great, but we are great because we are good," she continues over a montage of a diverse group of Americans. "We are going to lift each other up. I want us to heal our country and bring it together.

"My vision of America is an America where everyone has a place."

The 60-second ad samples Clinton's remarks from the town-hall debate at St. Louis' Washington University, according to The Los Angeles Times. It'll play in Florida, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Nevada, where Clinton and Donald Trump will have their final debate Wednesday night.

On a smaller scale, the pro-Clinton super PAC Priorities USA is set to run ads in Manchester, N.H., and Philadelphia targeting embattled Senators Kelly Ayotte and Patrick J. Toomey in an attempt to tie them to Trump.

"Our first priority is doing all we can to help Hillary win in as many places, among as many people and by as big a margin as possible," Guy Cecil, Priorities' chief strategist said in a statement to The New York Times.

The move is part of a new focus on down-ticket races, due to Clinton's emerging national lead over Trump.
