Bernie Sanders is going to triumph over Hillary Clinton to become the Democratic presidential nominee and then finish off Donald Trump in November's general election, the Vermont senator's older brother says.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, 81-year-old Larry Sanders called Clinton, the Democratic presidential front-runner, "a very weak candidate" who his brother can beat and go on to "wipe Trump up."
"It won't be easy, but my gut feeling is that he'll [beat Clinton] because of the excitement behind him," said Larry, who has lived in England since the late 1960s when he fell in love with a British woman.
"He would bring in a new Democratic Congress, with a lot of new blood. And he would then be able to move toward all the economic changes that he's talked about."
Larry added that his British neighbors are "appalled and amazed" at Trump and view Clinton as "another conventional middle-of-the-road politician.”
