Ben Shapiro: Radical Left Wing Taking Over Democrats' Rhetoric

Conservative commentator Ben Shapiro said the rhetoric of the Democratic Party is being taken over by the radical left wing.

He noted it was a "really interesting phenomena to watch," since Democrats winning in districts are more moderate.

His comments came during a Tuesday interview on television’s "Fox & Friends." 

"If the Democrats were smart they would embrace a sort of moderate platform, but they’re not going to do that because the base is so active and they’re so interested in appeasing that base at this point. They’re really afraid of alienating millennials…"

Last week, Shapiro had offered to give New York Democratic House candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign $10,000 if she would debate him. But she would not agree to the debate.
