Ben Carson Is Open to Being Trump's VP Pick

Ben Carson won't rule out being Donald Trump's vice president if the brash Republican presidential front-runner wins the nomination.

"I think all things are possible, but it's much too early to begin such conversations," the retired neurosurgeon and fellow political neophyte said Sunday on CNN's State of the Union.

Carson said he opposes using military drone strikes against people at the U.S.-Mexico border.

"Read my lips," he said. "I said there are caves they utilize. Those caves can be eliminated."

"I'm not talking about killing people," said Carson.

Carson also said it was "silly political correctness" to argue against the use of the term "anchor babies" to describe children born to people who aren't American citizens. The issue of birthright citizenship has rocked the campaign trail after Trump called for eliminating it last week.
