Inge Thulin, the chairman of 3M, has resigned from President Donald Trump's Manufacturing Advisory Council.

His resignation was announced in a tweet on Wednesday by his company.

Thulin is the sixth business leader to resign from the council since Monday, according to The Hill. The resignations come of the heels of Trump's controversial remarks about the violence at a rally by white supremacists in Charlottesville, Virginia, the website noted.
