China is maintaining it has control of the deadly coronavirus outbreak, but it most likely does not, former CIA Director James Woolsey told Newsmax TV on Tuesday.
"When you treat doctors who discovered a virus, illness by punishing them, it's sort of like the line I think from a Damon Runyon short story: 'shut up, I explained,'" Woolsey told "Newsmax Now" host John Bachman. "That's basically the view of the Chinese government, if somebody brings you bad news the first problem is not to solve the problem; it's to shut everybody up."
