Gavin McInnes to Newsmax: Many Women Don't Want Jobs

By    |   Monday, 28 October 2013 06:17 PM EDT

Gavin McInnes, outspoken musician, comedian and co-founder of the arts and news magazine Vice, has been under fire for his explosive comment that feminism has made women less happy — and he's not backing down.

"What I was saying was not radical ... I just talked about my personal experience. I find a lot of women in this workforce don't seem like they sincerely want to be there," McInnes told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.

Story continues below video.

"While I acknowledge that plenty do . . . just daring to concede that a lot of them are sort of wondering what they're doing there was blasphemous . . . On top of that, I recognize that a lot of my friends are using fertility drugs and other things to try to reverse the clock because no one told them that it's hard to have a kid after 35," he said Monday.

McInnes also blasted what he calls today's "liberal mindset," which he says has consequences.

"It's all for the greater good. I'm going to start with this concept of equality and just force it on you. So, children are all the same. Boys and girls are the same," he said.

"So, if a boy doesn't want to be a princess, I'm going to stick a princess dress on him, and if he points his finger like a gun, I'm going to expel him."
