America's colleges and universities are spreading "anti-Semitic themes" to their students via "indentured professors," Pastor John Hagee told Newsmax TV.
Hagee was on Tuesday's "Newsmax Now" and was asked about the deadly shooting at a Jewish synagogue last weekend. The alleged shooter reportedly yelled anti-semitic rhetoric during and after the incident.
"What happened in Pittsburgh was the face of evil itself," Hagee said. "Anti-Semitism is everyone's problem. It's not just a Jewish problem. This was a tragedy that must never be repeated, but will be repeated if the American people do not realize that anti-Semitism is on the rise in this nation."

Hagee, the founder of Christians United for Israel, said his organization has picked up on an alarming trend at institutions of higher learning.
The group, he said, is "discovering that there is a stream of poison flowing through America's colleges and universities, where indentured professors have the opportunity to spew anti-Semitic themes and attack gentile students who are pro-Israel. This is a reality in America's universities.
"There are extremists on the left and extremists on the right who are anti-Semites. But we must realize that anti-Semitism is hatred. And there's no such thing as a Christian anti-Semite. Christianity is driven by the love of God. Anti-semitism is driven by hatred. They do not mix."
Robert Gregory Bowers was arrested at the scene of Saturday's shooting and appeared in court Monday after he allegedly shot and killed 11 people and wounded six others.
