Despite a bad week characterized by his 47 percent gaffe, Mitt Romney could still win his state and the presidential election, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker said Sunday.
He just needs to show more enthusiasm. Walker said he wants to see more "fire in the belly" from Romney.
“He's got the courage and the passion to be president," Walker said on "Fox News Sunday." "I want to see that on the campaign trail."
Walker said Romney’s comments to a fundraiser in Boca Raton regarding those who would not vote for him is nothing more than a distraction.
"This president and his allies largely define success by how many people are dependent on the government," Walker said.
Asked what advice he would give to the Republican nominee, Walker said, "I think you've gotta get off the heels and move forward. I think Americans want a fighter.
“I’ve said all along to Mitt Romney–if he wants to win Wisconsin he’s going to show people that the ‘R’ next to his name doesn’t just stand for Republican. It stands for reformer,” Walker said.
