Omer Taspinar of the Brookings Institution says Turkish leaders firmly believe diplomacy is what’s needed now in dealing with Iran, not sanctions or military action. But Turkey has not gone soft, he says. Just the opposite. It’s putting its relationship with Iran at risk to forge a closer relationship with the United States.

Muslim Brotherhood Moves to Quash Military Rule
