At a campaign rally on Tuesday in Claremont, New Hampshire, Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump ripped President Barack Obama's executive order to tighten gun control, saying any decision on the issue should be made "the old fashion way" by Congress,
The Guardian reports.
"Wouldn't it be nice if they could actually get Congress together and do it the old fashion way . . . where they work together and come up with something?" Trump said. "He just wants to sign executive orders. No good, it's no good."
In an emotional speech a tearful Obama made his last-ditch call for gun control and outlined new rules that will close background check loopholes.
"Congress needs to act, but folks in this room will not rest until Congress does... We can't wait," Obama said in his speech on Tuesday.
Trump passionately added that Obama's executive actions are "no good, it's no fair and they're not going to screw around with the Second Amendment.... It's not going to happen."
