President Donald Trump blasted Democrats, saying they have “gone stone cold crazy” as they continue their investigations of him.
His remarks came in three tweets posted Tuesday. He specifically cited Reps. Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., and Adam Schiff, D-Calif., who lead committees probing Trump. And he ripped into the investigations, calling them “presidential harassment.”
He also accused Democrats of “obstructing justice” and called the probes “the greatest overreach in the history of our country” and a “big, fat fishing expedition.”
Trump wrote: “Now that they realize the only Collusion with Russia was done by Crooked Hillary Clinton & the Democrats, Nadler, Schiff and the Dem heads of the Committees have gone stone cold CRAZY. 81 letter(s) sent to innocent people to harass them. They won’t get ANYTHING done for our Country!”
He also tweeted: “The greatest overreach in the history of our Country. The Dems are obstructing justice and will not get anything done. A big, fat, fishing expedition desperately in search of a crime, when in fact the real crime is what the Dems are doing, and have done!”
He followed up that tweet with one that simply said: “Presidential Harassment!”
