Apple CEO Tim Cook changed his Twitter display name following President Donald Trump's gaffe.

At some point on Thursday, Cook's Twitter account name changed from Tim Cook to "Tim ."

The use of the Apple logo emoji was a creative and subtle way to acknowledge the humor in the situation.

Cook and other CEOs attended an American Workforce Policy Advisory Board meeting with Trump at the White House on Thursday, and each member of the panel spoke briefly after the meeting began. After Cook said his part, Trump closed by saying, "We appreciate it very much, Tim Apple."

Cook did not comment on the harmless gaffe, nor did he say anything about the use of the Apple logo emoji in his new Twitter name.
