A Mississippi Subway shop employee was fired for celebrating the killing of two Hattiesburg cops on social media.
The employee, who goes by C-Babi Denell Senshala and Sierra C-Babi McCurdy on social media, wrote on Facebook that "2 police officers was shot in hattiesburg tonight! GOT EM,'" the
New York Post reported.
She followed it up with a comment on her own post.
"We can turn this bxtch into Baltimore real quick. -frfr [for real, for real] police take away innocent people lives everyday now & get away w/ it , fxck them ... [no mercy]," McCurdy wrote,
the Daily Mail reports.
Subway fired McCurdy after receiving comments about the remarks from customers on Twitter.
"Wow. This piece of trash was celebrating the death of two policeman in Hattiesburg. Your [employee], @Subway," someone tweeted.
"This behavior is unacceptable & does not represent our brand's values & ethics," Subway wrote on its Twitter account Sunday night. "The franchise has terminated the employee."
The two
police officers, Benjamin Deen, 34, and Liquori Tate, 25, were shot when making a routine traffic stop Saturday night. Four people have been arrested and two charged with capital murder.
