Rudy Giuliani, the attorney for President Donald Trump, said the actions of former Vice President Joe Biden regarding Ukraine need to be investigated before the 2020 election.

Biden made his comments on the Fox News show, “The Ingraham Angle” on Thursday night.

“I guarantee you, Joe Biden will not get to Election Day without this being investigated,” he said.

“Joe Biden was appointed the point man for Ukraine (during the Obama administration),” Giuliani said. “Two to three weeks later, his son, Hunter, who had just been tossed out of the military for testing positive for cocaine, was appointed to a position on the most corrupt agency, the most corrupt business in Ukraine --- a natural gas business called Burisma, which was headed by an oligarch who was being protected by (President Vladimir) Putin in Russia.

Giuliani maintained Hunter Biden made as much as $4 million from his ties to the company.

He also said that when the company’s dealings were under investigation by Ukrainian officials, Biden, who was vice president at the time, called Ukraine’s president and demanded that the prosecutor in the case be fired.

Giuliani said Joe Biden threatened to withhold a $1.2 billion loan guarantee from the U.S. if the prosecutor wasn’t fired. The New York Times reported Giuliani will personally urge Ukraine’s president-elect to pursue an investigation into potential conflicts of interest involving Biden’s family and the Ukraine government.
