Campaigning together, Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are painting the upcoming presidential contest as a stark choice between two competing visions of economic vitality.
A huge, excited crowd met the newly minted Republican ticket Sunday in Mooresville, N.C., about fifty miles outside Charlotte. The pair was campaigning together for the second day. Ryan introduced Romney, telling a crowd of more than a thousand that "the contrast could not be more clear" between Romney and his Democratic opponent, President Barack Obama.
A visibly excited Romney joined in chants of "USA, USA," pumping his fist in the air as he kicked off what he called "Day 2 on our comeback tour."
Romney and Ryan were campaigning in North Carolina before flying to Wisconsin for a rally in Ryan's home state.
