'Reagan' Movie Signs Deal with Cinesky Pictures for All Overseas Airlines

Rawhide Pictures and 4 Square Films have signed a deal with Cinesky Pictures for foreign airline rights to the upcoming film "Reagan," producers have announced. The deal would allow the film to be shown on all non-U.S. airlines after it’s theatrical release and was arranged by Andrew Brown of the U.K.-based sales agency 4 Square Films and brokered at AFM.

Cinesky Pictures was founded in 2005 by Betsy Hamlin, and continues to be one of the leading distributors of theatrical film content to airlines and ships worldwide.

"We are thrilled to be distributing the landmark drama Reagan," Hamlin said. "We look forward to continuing to offer the film to ancillary markets in the future"

"We're honored to work with a great company like Cinesky on this film," noted producer Mark Joseph. "Betsy is one of the best in our business and we look forward to working with her and Cinesky to take this film around the world."

"Reagan" was written by screenwriter Howard Klausner ("Space Cowboys"), produced by Mark Joseph ("The Vessel," "Max Rose") and will be directed by Sean McNamara ("Soul Surfer") chronicling Ronald Reagan from his youth, through his acting career, presidency and the final years of his life. The film is slated to begin production in 2017 for a 2018 release.
