About 42% of American adults say the Philadelphia Eagles will most likely win Sunday's Super Bowl, while 28% predict a victory for the Kansas City Chiefs, according to a new Rasmussen Reports poll.

Poll results, released Friday:

  • 30% say they are uncertain who will win.
  • 36% say it is very likely they will watch the game.
  • 21% say it is somewhat likely.
  • 16% say it is not very likely.
  • 22% say it is not at all likely.
  • 4% were uncertain.
  • 42% of men say they are very likely to watch the game, compared to 31% of women.
  • 46% of men say the Eagles will win, compared to 38% of women.

The poll, conducted Feb. 5-7, surveyed 1,000 American adults. The margin of error is plus/minus 3 percentage points.

In an interview with Newsmax on Friday, legendary football coach Lou Holtz predicted a Chiefs win.

"I give a slight edge to the Chiefs," he said on "National Report." "I know the people in Philadelphia aren't happy about that, but so be it."
