President Donald Trump’s approval rating has gone up four percentage points this week to 50 percent, according to the Rasmussen Reports daily presidential tracking poll released on Wednesday. Forty-eight percent disapprove.

Trump’s approval rating was 46 percent at the beginning of the week.

Trump tweeted the results of the poll, calling Rasmussen “one of the most accurate in predicting the 2016 Election.”

He thanked the “vicious young Socialist Congresswomen” who he said should go back to the countries they came from, insisting in his tweet on Wednesday that “America will never buy your act!”

Rasmussen, a conservative-leaning polling company, has portrayed itself as the most accurate pollster of the 2016 election after it came within one point of predicting Hillary Clinton's popular vote victory in the presidential election, according to The Hill.

This was closer than any other major survey, which had her at a much higher margin of victory in the popular vote.
