Add the Toronto Raptors to the list of championship teams turning down a visit to the White House.

Or at least that’s what guard Danny Green said Saturday during an appearance on Yahoo’s “Inside the Green Room.”

“I just don’t think that we accept,” Green said when asked what his and the team's response would be to an invite. “To put it politely. And I try to respect everybody in every field that they do regardless of how crazy things are. But [President Donald Trump] makes it really hard. He makes it very, very tough to respect how he goes about things and does things."

"To put it politely, I think it's a hard no," Green added. "I'm sure he's going to take his invite back if we do decide.

Of the 20 major sports teams that have won championships during Trump’s administration, only 10 have celebrated at the White House.

The Golden State Warriors in 2018 were not invited to the White House after several players said they would not visit.

“Going to the White House is considered a great honor for a championship team,” Trump tweeted at the time. “Stephen Curry is hesitating, therefore invitation is withdrawn!”

The last NBA team to visit the White House was the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016 during the final year of Barack Obama’s administration.
