NBA Dallas Mavericks owner and billionaire Mark Cuban hinted Monday at a potential presidential run after his Twitter spat with President Donald trump, Business Insider reported.
In an email to Business Insider on Monday, Cuban said "We will see," when asked whether he might run in the future. President Donald Trump, seemingly from nowhere Sunday, took a swipe at Cuban on Twitter, saying he was not smart enough to run for President.
Cuban, who said Trump's dig was likely the result of a New York Post story stating a run by Cuban in 2020 would be the White House's biggest fear, in response to Trump's tweet, posted a pair of emails he sent to Trump during the campaign.
At the tail end of one of the emails, Cuban said he "may go after that job some day and it could be against you," referring to a presidential run against Trump. Cuban was an ardent supporter of Hillary Clinton's. He once said he was considering running, but claimed later it would be too much for him and his family.
