More than eight in 10 voters say Congress hasn't worked hard enough to take five weeks off,
according to a new Fox News poll.
Members of Congress left Washington Aug. 2 and will not return until Sept. 9. Lawmakers generally use their August recess to go on vacation, travel abroad, or meet with constituents in their districts.

The Fox News survey of 1,007 registered voters found that 82 percent believe Congress doesn't deserve any time off, compared to 14 percent who say it does. Republicans and Democrats generally were in agreement on the matter.
Congress faces several daunting tasks upon its return. First and foremost, legislators face a Sept. 30 deadline to fund the government or risk shutting down some federal operations. Immigration reform and gun control remain challenges as well.
Meanwhile, voters are split on whether President Barack Obama deserves the week of vacation he's taking this month. Forty-eight percent say the president deserves his vacation, while 48 percent say he doesn't. Eighty percent of Democrats say he deserves the break, while 36 percent of independents and 23 percent of Republicans agree, according to the Fox survey conducted Aug. 3-5.
