Only 25 percent of American voters say it is even somewhat likely that President Donald Trump and Congress will reach a deal in the next three weeks that includes funding for border security, including a wall on the border with Mexico, according to a Rasmussen Reports poll released on Wednesday.
Seventy-one percent consider such an agreement between the two sides unlikely.
These numbers include only seven percent who say a border security deal is very likely, with 28 percent insisting it is not at all likely.
The survey of 1,000 likely voters was conducted on Jan. 28-29. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95 percent level of confidence.
