Obamacare repeal is no longer a priority on Republicans' to-do list for 2018, The Hill reports, and neither is entitlement reform.

The repeal of Obamacare hardly came up last weekend when a host of Republican leaders met with President Donald Trump at Camp David to prioritize their legislative goals for 2018, The Hill reports.

Instead, Republicans want to focus on bipartisan efforts, given their one-seat majority in the Senate.

"There's some work we need to do on the healthcare front, but I would hope we're in a position to do things on a bipartisan basis," No. 2 Republican Sen. John Cornyn told The Hill.

So instead of repeal of Obamacare or welfare reform, it's all about job training now, lawmakers told the outlet.

"We've got more work to do to work on people, getting them the skills they need so they can get the careers that they want so they can get the lives that they deserve," House Speaker Paul Ryan said Tuesday.

It was a far cry from Ryan's position before the Christmas break when he was all gung-ho about entitlement reform, which was not in the appetite of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, however.

Other top-line items for Republicans this year, after passing a budget: immigration and border security, infrastructure and building up the military.
