Unite the Country PAC is planning to spend about $900,000 for ads in New Hampshire in an effort to boost former Vice President Joe Biden ahead of the state’s primary next week.

The pro-Biden super PAC announced the plans in a Tuesday story posted by Politico.

Larry Rasky, treasurer for PAC said it is the right moment to tout Biden and separate him from two other moderate Democrats still bidding for the nomination: Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota and former South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg.

“What is undeniable is there’s going to be one standard-bearer for each wing of the party,” Rasky said.

“New Hampshire is a good state for us. We have a lot of good endorsements. We can at the very least finish a strong second.”

Politico noted Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., is expected to dominate in the Feb. 11 contest.

The Hill said the PAC also has started targeted communications to African American and Latino voters in Nevada and is planning radio and digital ads in South Carolina.
