Two 16-year-old brothers have been arrested and are being held without bond for the gang-related Silver Springs, Maryland, stabbing death of another teen, Fox 5 DC reported.
The two MS-13 member brothers, Lenin and Bryan Mancias-Callejas, arrived in the United States as unaccompanied minors and are both El Salvadoran nationals, according to The Daily Caller.
"[Department of Homeland Security] can confirm that Lenin Mancias-Callejas and Bryan Mancias-Callejas are natives of El Salvador who entered the United States as an Unaccompanied Alien Children [UAC] and are illegally present," a DHS official told the Daily Caller on the condition of anonymity.
An arrest warrant is outstanding for a third suspect, Francisco Sosa, 18, who remains at large, according to CBS affiliate WUSA 9 News. Prince George County Police told reporters that all three are members of a gang.
All three suspects have been charged with both first- and second-degree murder and related charges.
