The Israeli army says one of its soldiers is "feared" captured by Gaza militants, hours after a Hamas-Israel cease-fire in the coastal strip unraveled.
The soldier went missing shortly after a Gaza official said at least 35 Palestinians were killed in Israeli shelling in and around the southern Gaza town of Rafah on Friday, The fighting broke out just hours after the cease-fire came into force.
Some 200 others were wounded in the Rafah shelling, said Palestinian health official Ashraf al-Kidra.
Hamas and Israel are accusing each other of violating the truce.
