Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee created an Internet sensation on Tuesday when he compared his recent colonoscopy to special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian interference in U.S. elections on Twitter.
The Fox News contributor tweeted Tuesday:
Huckabee, whose daughter Sarah Sanders is White House press secretary, has been an ardent supporter of President Donald Trump, and critic of the Russia investigation.
The tweet, which quickly went viral, was posted shortly after a federal judge sentenced Alex van der Zwaan, the first person to be sentenced in Mueller's probe, to 30 days in prison and to pay a $20,000 fine.
A Google search for Huckabee's name and the word "colonoscopy" came up with 27,500 results by late afternoon.
