A report that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would raise their baby "gender fluid" was called "totally false" in an angry statement England’s Kensington Palace sent out to The Sun on Sunday.
The royal residence flatly denying a recent Vanity Fair article that said the royal couple “wouldn’t impose stereotypes” on their first child, expected in April.
Friends of Markle’s told Vanity Fair that she planned to raise the baby in a "fluid way," although it was unclear what that specifically meant, as there could be "multiple possible interpretations."
Meghan recently flew to the U.S. for five nights of meeting with friends, buying baby clothes and enjoying leisurely lunches. She also attended a baby shower thrown by her friends in New York.
A friend told Vanity Fair that Meghan said she and Harry plan to raise their baby "with a fluid approach to gender and they won’t be imposing any stereotypes."
It was also reported the couple have made a gender-neutral nursery at their home in Windsor in anticipation of the newborn.
