As former Vice President Joe Biden weighs a White House run, he is consulting with social media executives to seek better appeal to young voters.

According to CNBC, Biden has received advice from an unnamed Twitter executive. Athan Stephanopoulos, the president of NowThis News, has also worked with Biden to sharpen his social media skills.

"We work with elected officials, candidates, and former politicians regularly when it comes to them getting the most out of Twitter," a Twitter spokesman told CNBC.

Stephanopoulos told CNBC that his video platform caters to a younger audience.

"We are trying to reinforce that news outlets like NowThis are an important place to spend time and reach these audiences," he said.

Biden has yet to announce his candidacy for president in the 2020 election, but he is believed to be contemplating another run. He ran in 1988 and in 2008. After ending his 2008 campaign, Biden linked up with then-candidate Barack Obama to serve as his running mate and, eventually, vice president for two terms.

Despite not being a candidate, Biden is the leading Democrat in several presidential polls that have been released in recent weeks. The field of left-leaning candidates seeking a chance to challenge President Donald Trump is rapidly growing.
