Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., told Newsmax TV on Monday that President Joe Biden's administration is displaying an "America last" policy, in contrast to former President Donald Trump's "America First" agenda.
Comer, speaking to "American Agenda" on Monday afternoon, asked, "who wouldn't be for buy American," the policy that Trump put in place that Biden has rescinded.
The House Oversight Committee ranking member added, "unfortunately, the talking points that the Biden administration keeps spitting out there don't match his policy."
Comer claimed, "everything" Biden has "done thus far in the first three days of his administration would lead one to believe that it's America last policy, from canceling the Keystone pipeline, which cost thousands and thousands of good paying jobs, to rejoining the Paris climate accords, which adds more job killing burdensome regulations to the private sector, to doubling the minimum wage. Everything that he has done thus far has put American manufacturing at a disadvantage."
He concluded, "Therefore, it makes it harder to buy American in terms of the executive orders that he's put into place so far."
