Mainstream media outlets are gunning for President Donald Trump to be impeached because it will make them millions of dollars in profits, veteran conservative commentator Bill O'Reilly tells Newsmax TV.
"What they want to do is root for anything bad to happen to Donald Trump . . . That's what the press wants," O'Reilly, a bestselling author and host of "No Spin News," told Wednesday's "The Joe Pags Show."
"You can imagine all the money that will be earned by cable news and the network news if Donald Trump is impeached. But it's the money. Tens of millions of dollars. So, just on the economics, they're rooting for Trump to get impeached."

O'Reilly singled out MSNBC.
"It's a liberal network, OK?" he said. "And NBC News runs it. But does NBC News like MSNBC? No, not particularly – they're embarrassed by it. Does it make money? Some money. Some. But not Fox News money.
"But if there's impeachment, they will triple their billings. So, NBC is sitting there going, 'Hey, that's what we're in business to do – not report the news, not tell the truth, not even to seek the truth. What we need is to make money' . . ."
