House Panel Wants Key Hunter Biden Associate to Testify

The House Oversight Committee is requesting testimony from Rob Walker, the former business partner of Hunter Biden, who transferred $1.3 million to members of the Biden family after he received $3 million from a Chinese energy company.

"The Committee has identified you as a critical witness in this matter and has reviewed evidence showing you received millions of dollars originating from a Chinese energy company and elsewhere," House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., wrote to Walker. "The Committee invites you to participate in a transcribed interview with Committee staff."

The request comes a day after the panel revealed that Walker used his company to transfer money from a Chinese energy company to Hunter Biden, James Biden, Hallie Biden, and an unknown "Biden."

Hallie Biden, the widow if the president's son, Beau Biden, and who had a romantic relationship with Hunter Biden for a short time, received $35,000 over two transfers in 2017, according to the records. Comer said Chinese firm Energy HK Ltd. wired Walker $3 million just before those transfers.

"Everyone says it was an energy deal," Comer said on Fox News. "Well, it looks to me like these people, who were closely aligned with the Chinese Communist Party, sent $3 million to a shell corporation and then they turned around and split it three ways with one-third going to the Biden family, three different family members for no apparent reason."

Comer in a press release said Walker is a "key witness in our investigation of President Biden’s involvement in his family’s business schemes" and said the committee is trying to ascertain "what services were provided in return" for the money wired to the family business.

"When speaking about dealings with the Biden family, Rob Walker once said that exposing him would ‘bury all of us, man,' " Comer added. "Why?"
