President Barack Obama's former doctor believes Hillary Clinton should have a neurological examination because her concussion history.

In an interview Tuesday night on CNN's "Erin Burnett OutFront," Dr. David Scheiner said neither the note from Clinton's doctor nor the one from GOP nominee Donald Trump's physician is good enough.

"I think both of them should release their records," he said.

"[Clinton] should have had a neurological examination and a thorough neurological examination in 2016," Scheiner said. "We know what happens to football players who have had concussions, how they begin to lose some of their cognitive ability."

And Scheiner also derided Trump's note from his gastroenterologist, Dr. Harold Bornstein.

"I think you need real details," he said of the note, which was reportedly written in 5 minutes.

"I think you need actual medical records and just someone… making a few statements about 'astoundingly excellent,' that's not good enough. I'd like to know his heart and weight, to know what his BMI is. He looks a bit overweight to me."

"This is arguably one of the most important things Dr. Bornstein ever wrote and he showed absolutely no concern for the public to whom it was really meant to read," Scheiner added.
