The Vatican is calling for an investigation into the recent death of Miriam Wuolou, an assistant to Pope Francis who was found dead in her Rome apartment last week, the

Wuolou, 34, was seven months pregnant and had diabetes, which can be fatal during pregnancy. Doctors had warned of the high risk,

Police were called to her apartment after her brother became concerned that she wasn't answering his phone calls. According to the New York Post, police have interviewed her brother, ex-husband, and current boyfriend. The Christian Post said investigators are looking into whether it is a case of neglect.
DNA tests are set to determine the paternity of her unborn child.
