This year's Conservative Political Action Conference shows "there is life after death" for Republicans, says political analyst Dick Morris.
The focus for the GOP needs to be on winning over young voters not just Latino voters, Morris told Newsmax TV's J.D. Hayworth and John Bachman on "America's Forum" Monday.
"The real swing voters in this election are young people," said the former adviser to Bill Clinton. "There's been a real shift among young people, away from the Democrats."
Morris said 2012 Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney won the "over 30" demographic "by 1 point" in 2012, but Obama won the "under 30" demographic two-to-one.

However, because of Obamacare, that is starting to change.
"Now the job approval of Obama for people under 30 is the same as it is for people over 30 — at 40 percent," Morris said. "There's a real move away from him because they realize Obamacare is targeted at them. They're its victims."
Republican Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky, who won the CPAC presidential
straw poll, said that one of his goals is to attract more young voters to the Republican Party by focusing on the government's breaches of the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution, which is supposed to protect American citizens from illegal search and seizure.
"I think there's a real opportunity for Republicans who do believe in the Fourth Amendment to grow our party and bring that [youth] energy into our party," Paul said on
Fox News Sunday.
