George Clooney has joined the masses in calling out Donald Trump.
In an interview with The Guardian, Clooney sat down and talked about his thoughts on the potential Republican nominee.
"He's just an opportunist," the "Hail, Caesar" actor said. "Now he's a fascist; a xenophobic fascist."
Clooney added that during election season it often isn't the person with the best idea being heard but rather the person who is loudest.

"Let's put things into perspective," he said. "You know, the truth of the matter is, in election season, things go crazy, and the loudest voices are the furthest and most extreme. So you hear a massively stupid idea, like we're going to ban Muslims from the country. Now, we're not ever going to do that. It says in the Statue of Liberty, bring us your huddled masses. It's not what's going to happen."
Clooney also talked about the potential Democratic nominees. The actor said he was a Hillary Clinton supporter and had plans to do a fundraiser for her. A similar fundraiser he put on in 2012 for Obama raised more than $12 million. He also spoke on his admiration for Bernie Sanders.
"I really love Bernie Sanders, and am really glad he is in the debate," Clooney said. "He is forcing the conversation to things that never get talked about in US politics: disparity between the rich and the poor, which is getting worse and worse every day."
