The State Department Saturday released more than 500 emails from Hillary Clinton's private email server, including 81 confidential messages and three that have been upgraded to a "secret" classification, but none in the latest batch were withheld for being top secret.

The emails that were designated as classified were not marked that way when they were originally sent, reports The Hill. The latest release brings a total of 45,830 pages of messages that have been publicly released.

The Obama administration has been ordered to release all of the remaining emails from Clinton's server by the end of February. They were to have been released by Jan. 29, but just ahead of the deadline, as a snow storm was hitting Washington, the State Department said they had found more than 4,000 emails that had not yet been checked for private material.

They wanted to delay the release of all the remaining messages until Feb. 29, which would have meant a large batch coming out just before the March 1 Super Tuesday primaries, reports The Washington Times, but Judge Rudolpho Contreras ordered them to be released in installments that would conclude at that time instead.

One of the messages marked as secret in the new batch came from U.S. diplomat David Satterfield, who told White House and State Department officials about Sinai negotiations, reports the Times. The message had been forwarded to Clinton by on of her top aides Jacob Sullivan.

Eric Stein, a top State Department open records official, took the blame for the department breaking its January deadline, saying that the toughest documents had been pushed back and the department discovered late that the security checks had not been run on them.
