Clinton to Rescue Obama — Again!

By    |   Friday, 05 October 2012 10:13 PM EDT

After a dismal debate performance against Republican challenger Mitt Romney, President Barack Obama has turned — yet, again — to former White House occupant Bill Clinton.

Clinton, whose speech was well-received at the Democratic National Convention last month will join Obama in Los Angeles at a private fundraiser Sunday, CNN reports.

“I’m meeting up with President Clinton on the campaign trail, and we both want to thank you in person,” Obama said in the email solicitation, CNN reports.

On Tuesday, Clinton will speak in Las Vegas on Obama’s behalf, CNN reports.

CNN said Clinton has told friends he will do as much to support Obama’s re-election bid as his schedule allows.
